The Harwich & Dovercourt Bay
Beach-hut & Sea-front
Users’ Association

Based in the historic town of Harwich on the east coast of England, the Harwich and Dovercourt Bay Beach Hut Association has been in existence for thirteen years and has 400 members. The main objective is to deter vandalism, both to the members beach huts and the seafront area together with the many facilities.

The Dovercourt Bay seafront is a quiet and picturesque area where all beach-hut owners have easy access to leisure facilities such as an indoor swimming pool, a boating lake, yachting pond, skating rink, crazy golf, tennis courts, skate park, car parks, cafes and shops.

With the main town of Dovercourt situated approximately one mile away — a leisurely fifteen minute walk — it is the ideal place to while away the hours and relax.

In the past there have been many beach huts for sale, and always vacant plots. Now Harwich and Dovercourt Bay sea-front has regained for the sixth consecutive year its status — boasting a European Blue Flag Award for clean water and beaches we now find but a few beach huts are for sale and no vacant plots available.
